Victor Lazzaro Jr., Co-Founder/Senior Advisor
Vic Lazzaro has over 20 years of senior management experience in the health and managed care fields and has held positions responsible for marketing, finance, administration, and healthcare delivery.
Mr. Lazzaro formed International Health Technology Company (IHT), a consulting firm. IHT has had a number of international business activities including developing and managing medical clinics and hospitals in China. Currently he serves as Chief Executive Officer of BridgeHealth Medical, the leading medical travel company providing cost effective access to leading hospitals in the US and around the world. Previously, Vic through IHT, functioned as General Manager of Capitis – China. Mr. Lazzaro serves as Managing Director of Volante Capital, LLC, a Denver private equity and healthcare management services company and serves as a Principal and advisor on all transactions for the company.
Mr. Lazzaro was previously United Healthcare Corporation-Mountain States (UHC) President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his position at UHC, Mr. Lazzaro served as Regional Vice President of Health Plan Operations, Gulf South for Prudential Insurance Company of America. At Prudential, he also had CEO responsibility for healthcare management in the Houston Health Plan, Arkansas, Southeast Texas and Louisiana where his responsibilities included oversight of 30 primary and multi-specialty care clinics
Mr. Lazzaro is an active board member of a number of charity and business organizations, and previously served on the Advisory Board of MediExpress, a UHC affiliate, in Kuala Lumpur. He is also a guest lecturer at the University of Colorado – Denver, MBA in Health Administration program.
He received his Bachelor of Arts from Washington and Jefferson College and his MBA in Finance from the University of Southern California.
