Steven Pinkert, MD, JD, Chairman of the Board

 

Mr. Pinkert serves as the Chairman of the Board of Signum US Healthcare, a position he assumed in 2008.  He has traveled numerous times to China and has been instrumental in successfully advancing the implementation of CyberKnife and other radiation therapy technologies in China.

 

Mr. Pinkert graduated from Northwestern University Medical School and practiced medicine for over 10 years. In May 1998, he obtained his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law and subsequently obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration in International Business in 2001.  His legal practice has included  patent law, civil litigation, and transactional law.

 

Mr. Pinkert has represented many clients in their acquisition of radiotherapy therapy equipment and financing.  Mr. Pinkert worked with the team that opened one of the first advanced stereotactic radiosurgery facilities in the United States in Miami, FL.  Subsequently, he joined the physician owner in Miami as a partner in establishing a second location in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.   

 

Mr. Pinkert has served as a vice-president of a non-profit organization which actively works to promote appropriate reimbursement and patient access to CyberKnife radiation treatment.
