Engaged in communication command, equipment management and foreign affairs coordination during the six years in the Chinese military; engaged in investment and project management during the three years in fund management and investment enterprises; founded a medical device company and assumed the position of Vice President for two years with the annual sales of over RMB27 million, successfully guiding the company through financing and a merger; established a hospital investment management company, assumed the position of Executive Vice President for three years, participated in the negotiations for the joint venture hospital project with Tsinghua University as a core member and led the preparation and establishment process of Beijing Zhongjian Huayu Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital, the largest joint venture hospital in Beijing at that time. In the area of project management and company operation, established a good cooperation relationship with Ministry of Health of P.R.C., Ministry of Science and Technology of P.R.C., Ministry of Education of P.R.C., CDC, various renowned medical institutions (hospitals), Chinese Medical Association, Chinese Hospital Association, Chinese Medical Doctor Association, various major insurance companies, School of Medicine of The Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Hospital, an American medical group, International SOS, Japan CNA; has in-depth experience in project management and practical operation in the medical industry.

Chen Hui has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the Information Engineering College of the People's Liberation Army, and an MBA from the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University.
